i’m using the method outlined here (http://www.michaelkuhlmann.com/tutorials/how-to-add-custom-menus/) to make use of Custom Menus in a Buddypress BP-Default Child Theme that you see here: http://willowbilliards.com/.

It worked, in that the menu items i selected now appear. But I need to get it to work like a regular dropdown menu. How do I get the sub-menu items (in red) to be hidden until someone hovers over the parent menu items above them?

    please advise. thanks in advance.

Did you copy the recommended css in the article and add to your style.css?

when i copied the recommended css it does nothing. all menu elements align vertically along the left side of the header. the elements names don’t match up. there’s nothing called access…

so i’m adding new css elements on the fly now.

to give some closure to this thread, i’ve switched to the new buddypress beta version which uses custom menus.
