Our client, a New Media publishing start-up is looking for a strong LAMP Developer to join their fast paced, growing company. The candidate must have strong development experience with emphasis on building scalable, high-traffic websites using WordPress. You will be working in a small technology team, closely with the designers/information architects and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 4+ years of hands-on development experience PHP5
* WordPress: custom themes and plug-ins development (if no WordPress, then other CMS experience is also acceptable)
* Solid experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery/JSON A desire to learn new technologies, research new products and a willingness to own the product and improve it
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant degree or experience WordPress community experience is a huge plus
* Experience building scalable, high-traffic websites is a huge plus
