WordPress has supported Child Themes for years. There are tons of articles on how to use child themes… even the WordPress codex states “child themes are the recommended way of making modifications to a theme”. At this very meetup, we’ve had Daisy Olsen explain Parent/Child (and why you should use them)… now it’s time to hear from the other side.
In this video, Allan Cole will talk about his experiences of using Parent/Child themes, and why he ultimately stopped using them.
