WordPress Troubleshooting and Support 7 years, 12 months agoI just ended up buying a premium plug in to handle all this because I can’t take it anymore. I had tried looking at the BBPress support forums but it all had to do with hard coding which I don’t understand and it would be erased with any updates anyway. I have it set up fine and it works but the caveat is that when someone registers as a new user, they get an e-mail with an assigned password and a link they have to click to login for the first time. WordPress Troubleshooting and Support 7 years, 12 months agoI’ve tried both these plugins and tried different variations on writing custom urls and nothing is working. I know this must be a simple thing that everyone does because I’ve never been to a blog where I had login or register through the wp login page. If ayone has any suggestions I’m appreciative.

WordPress Troubleshooting and Support 7 years, 12 months agoI installed the Custom Login URL and I had to manually put in new permalinks but I think I did it wrong and now I can’t get back into my site. every time I try to login a screen pops up and says “are you sure you want to log out” and there is no option to say no.
