I just found out that all my custom blog themes that had Auto Excerpt (first Paragraph from content) stopped working since i upgraded to wordpress 5.0. I assume it has to do with the new Gutenberg editor and block feature.Anyone else having this problem?
Is there a fix? -

Dashs, underscores and periods can be used in usernames at all levels: 123-45 ~ 123_45 ~ 123.45
In the interest of K.I.S.S we haven’t tried other symbols.

WordPress Troubleshooting and Support 6 years, 2 months agoAdding the db-error.php file to my site and sending a text message that includes the remote_addr, query and request, identified an hack attempt trying to login, showing the userid/password combinatoion the hacker was using. The hack originated from the netherlands.

#if ( !isset($wp_did_header) ) {
by removing the #
if ( !isset($wp_did_header) ) {
will fix the error, Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/deluxe/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 20
Since wp-blog-header.php is a core, seems that file got accidentally open, modified and saved.

Check the SSL certificate on the site and/or server. Just saw an intermittent warning that indicated it may have expired.
BTW, many of our hack remediation clients also received no-malware confirmations from Sucuri.

Re-upload all files and folders using a new download of WP, but DO NOT re-upload the wp-content folder.
If above doesn’t fix it, disable all plugins. Then enable them one at a time. When the problem re-occurs you’ve found the conflict.
Try these solutions in that order, do not disable/enable plugins first.
