I have websites hosted on ASO (A Small Orange) that someone suggested me to use because of their reliable services. I no longer use GoDaddy – especially after last month’s experience when their websites, including mine, went down when a hacker attacked it.

I would also like to know more about other good hosting providers with flexible plans. I was recommended not to use Host Gator or even Blue Host due to their “unlimited” plans which are not really “unlimited” because they can then send you a surprise email to tell you that memory and/or bandwidth exceeded the limit and that you pay an extra fee. Also, I read in “Locking Down WordPress” suggestions for WPEngine, ZippyKid, Sucuri.

Are there more good suggestions? Thanks!

I think one of our members also likes Site5…I chatted with them once with “live chat” and I was pleased..

Steve recommended Liquid Web once and so I used them for an e-commerce site for a relative of mine and have been thoroughly pleased. They’re a completely different experience!!! And they speak a good amount of WordPress speak.. hard to find!

The other host everyone talks about is WP Engine at http://www.wpengine.com but they are slightly more expensive but they are pure WordPress…
