I just went to my clients site and got this message…..

    “Reported Attack Page.

This webpage at is reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security settings…..?”

Has anyone ever had this happen….? any ideas on what I need to do…?

That site has been blacklisted by google for some reason. Sucuri doesn’t report any WordPress infections. However, WordPress is out of date, so there could potentially be an issue.

Google (, however, is reporting malware on two out of two pages that resulted in malicious software being downloaded.

Make sure you secure your site, then resubmit the site to Google using Google Webmaster Tools. That should resolve the issue.

    Hi Vincent,

A text widget has a link to a malicious j-script redirect.

Look for http:// “ -dot- php” in one of the widgets.

Shoot me a note for details on fix and prevention. Removing the link and/or widget is not enough.

BTW… I’ve stated this before but people don’t seem to, or don’t want to get it. My company gets LOTS of work from people who use Sucuri. They are our single best source of security clients.

We focus on prevention, not “OOOPS, your site has been hacked.” Almost 1500 sites secured and none have been re-hacked… not a single one.
