    Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can help with an odd problem I’m having. The image uploader has stopped uploading images on my multi-site installation. That’s all sites. It seems to have happened gradually – I remember having some problems with it on one site a couple of weeks, then it went away and I forgot about it. Then, a couple of days ago, I couldn’t upload any image data.

I’ve tried it on many different photos, including photos I’ve uploaded before. It will upload the photo, even show a path, but then it says file size: 0*0 if I try to edit image I get ‘image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image’.

Uploading the image produces the same result.

I’ve checked all my settings, can’t see what might be doing it. Is this a wordpress problem? A server problem?

    Thanks in advance

I have seen this before, and when I did it was tied to permissions on the uploads directory.

Are you (your host) using suphp or suexec? That is (IMO) the best way to deal with permissions.

If not take a look at WordPress File Permissions

Thanks kevin. Datagram is the hosting company. I”ll check with them. Not sure why it would change. Threads on the wp forum was all over the place on this issue. T
