Create a Lynda.com-esque site in wp

    I could do with a few pointers, plug-in suggestions, or themes you have seen.

    I want to create a simple paid subscription video site – think a Lynda.com – on the wordpress platform.

    The site needs to take payments and once a subscriber has paid (and logged in), they will have access to the content video posts. Other parts of the site will be accessible by all, like the blog and the forums.

    I also need some suggestions on how to host the video so that it is only discoverable and accessible through the site. I assume this will be a third party and am interested in how I pull these in to the site. Is it a simple url as if this were hosted on YouTube or Vimeo?

    Appreciate any help and recommendations as I hope to do this myself for experience (and I can’t afford a developer).

    The most popular and highest rated membership plugin is s2Member. I have not used it myself but heard it works well.

    Amazon CloudFront does content delivery. They have complete instructions on their site.
