    Hi:

Haven’t posted to my site in a while. Tried using the Visual editor, but I can’t see it(grayed out) so I have no means of uploading my images along with my post. As far as I know, I’m running Version 3.4. I’ve not been able to upload the “Green” version as yet. Ideas? Workarounds? BTW, I can preview and publish.

@Donald– Check your user profile. There’s actually a check box for disabling the visual editor. Located at http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/profile.php

Temporarily, you can always upload images via the MEDIA tab, and manually include the image path.

    Hi Steve:

    Thanks for your quick reply.

The visual editor is not disabled in user profile. Visual editor is greyed out. When I check on it the word “visual” turns red.

I am currently running Version 3.4. I can’t recall having this problem under 3.3.2. Can I perhaps uninstall 3.4.

Will try the manual path route with the manual editor although I’m not quite sure what additional code I must add.

    Thanks again.

    Stay as cool as possible.

    Donald

Here’s a good thread with lots of options, including the usual culprits: theme and plugins.
