I really didn’t set aside time today to log into each one of my sites and click an “upgrade” button lest I have my web server hacked and lose all my sites as has happened in the past.
This is why there needs to be some better way to handle this so that I can have a life other than as slave to the whims of WordPress releases.
WPremote seems to want me to click on each site and then click to go into the admin panel of each site where I can log in and run the upgrade. This is a fail as far as improving my life.
My test account of manageWP did the upgrade on its sites with one quick “upgrade all” click — which is the only way to survive this kind of stupidity — and which I guess makes it a must-have tool I have to budget for right away.
