    I am not sure whether this is something this community would be interested in, but I thought we could exchange ideas/suggestions on our own blogs or something cool we find online.

    To kick off, I would like to ask for opinions on my blog/community Zester & Peeler (www.zesterandpeeler.com). I’ve written a few articles, but I am having a hard time bringing people in – maybe my content is just not interesting enough, which I am totally fine with (we always think our stuff is the best thing after sliced bread, right?!).

    I also would like ideas on how to make the site more user-friendly and eye-appealing. Any constructive criticism is welcome!

    ps. I think it is going to be obvious when you open the site that I am using WP and Buddypress.

    You could probably post this in the Show Us Your Site forum for better results.

    The site looks good to me. Getting people to come to your site is a challenge (one that I am not necessarily qualified to help with), but I’m sure other people in this group will have ideas.

    By the way, I noticed a bunch of spam users in your member list. You might want to have a look at this link on how to combat that. (It’s an old forum post, but probably still useful)

    Good call Andrew. We use this plugin on wpnyc, bp-registration-options.
    You have to manually approve each registration… but it’s totally worth it.
