    I enjoyed attending WCNYC the last two years… perhaps there’s opportunity to start planning one for early 2012? There’s a website dedicated to the planning of WordCamp events here:

    If the organizers or the venue from the last two WCNYCs are not available, it may be difficult to pull off an event with the same scale. But we now have General Assembly and New Work City as potential venues for smaller events, so maybe a compact WordCamp is possible, just to keep the community momentum going (especially for the advanced-level developers and site administrators).
